Introducing "Underneath the Barcelona Sky" exhibition, showcasing artworks by Masholand. Experience the enchanting pieces titled "An Octopus Was Here," "Wild Ones Stay in the Rose Cage," and "The Siamese Centaurusses Under the Seven Moons."

The exhibition will take place at the exhibition wall of the Street Gallery in Ezo, Tbilisi.

The "Underneath the Barcelona Sky" exhibition showcases a captivating series of small illustrations, crafted in Catalunya and influenced by its stunning scenery and architecture. Each Masholand's character in the illustration is dedicated to each month spent in Barcelona. For instance, the Siamese Centaurus character represents January, symbolizing a burst of creative energy. In contrast, the February character embodies a cold, feline wild creature, reflecting a time spent indoors. Finally, March's character is depicted as an Octopus, conveying the final month spent in the city.

On June 3 and 4, "Vintylator" and "Betterfly” are going to be hosting the first Green Market at the 9th OF APRIL PARK.

On October 22 MoonLab 42 marked its second birthday with a relaunch and an art show opening. Following the recent exhibitions of Arif Qazi and Phil Ashworth, the store featured Georgian visual artist Masho Margishvili to celebrate its Georgian heritage. 

At MoonLab 42 Masho presented her latest works from the collection Monologue, which is the last part of the series of her exhibitions following Trialogue (Masholand's first solo exhibition which unfolded a relationship of three characters) and Dialogue (a collaboration with a Brooklyn-based Georgian photographer Dimitri Mais). In Monologue, Masho explored her most private thoughts, esoteric findings, and her night-time dreams. This deeply personal work will represent ideas that may seem superstitious for some but have been helping the artist overcome some challenges over the years.

The exhibition took place from October 22 through October 29th at MoonLab’s Harlem store.

On December 6, 7, 8, ArtUp - Street Gallery with the support of თბილისის მერია / Tbilisi City Hall and Tbilisi Transport Company will hold the festival TBILISI METRO FEST.

The most crowded public transport Metro will transform into exhibition space and offer various types of installations and artworks to the passengers.

The Festival will take place on December 6, from 6:00 pm and will last until December 8, 00:00 am.

Masholand - "How to pretend to be a human"

We are pleased to announce the opening of Masho (Mariam) Margishvili’s exhibition from July 25 in Tbilisi and Batumi art boxes.

The illustrations, presented in the boxes, were made for Tallinn's creative district's "Telliskivi" 10th-year anniversary. They show Masholanders who act like humans and pretend to be the earth's inhabitants. By doing so, they try to elevate our mood and bring more joy to our daily lives.

Masho Margishvili was born in Tbilisi. After graduating from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, she continued her studies in the Vilnius Academy of Art, where she graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Design. Soon after graduation, she found herself in many different fields, and finally, in 2017 passed to the Master of Game Design at Tallinn University. In 2013, Masho went to Vietnam as a graphic designer, where she discovered the parallel universe of "Masholand" https://www.masholand.com/, at present, Masholand is distributed through media, such as illustration, wall painting, graphic design, short animation and other.

Nini Darchia graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, faculty of graphic design and faculty of art history. She's an art critic and author of many articles at media platform AT.ge. Also author of the project https://at.ge/tag/fantasy/

It is with great pleasure to officially announce Fabrikaffiti 2017 – The Urban Paint Festival, in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 10-12 June 2017.
The Festival takes place in the historical part of Tbilisi, in a soviet sewing factory, that has been transformed into a multi-functional urban space, called – Fabrika, bringing together enthusiastic individuals ready to stretch their minds with new exhilarating experiences.
