Two-Headed Alchemist Lion

Město=Galerie, Mladá Boleslav (2024)

In September 2024, Masholand created two large-scale murals during the Město=Galerie Urban Art Festival in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic.

The first wall, titled “Two-Headed Alchemist Lion”, holds special significance. It explores childhood memories connected to the Czech Republic while merging them with national symbolism. The lion (an important Czech emblem) is reimagined as an alchemist, representing strength, transformation, and resilience.

This mural is dedicated to my dear friend Ruska Badriashvili, who now embodies two lions in one: braver, stronger, and fiercer than ever before.

The work blends Masholand’s earlier style with new directions, symbolizing a smooth transition between past and future. Both challenging and rewarding to complete, this mural represents courage and transformation while honoring Czech cultural identity.

Special thanks to Město=Galerie, Street Art Czechia, Eksrtifi, Niko Movement team, and my new hardworking friends who helped bring this project to life.
