Draw with Ease: A Personality Test for Intuitive Sketching

What if your sketches could tell you something about yourself?

Welcome to a fun and stress-free drawing exercise where we’ll combine creativity with self-discovery! Instead of just answering a personality test, we’ll bring it to life on paper, placing objects freely and sketching without overthinking.

Here’s how it works:
You’ll imagine and sketch five symbolic elements:

• A carpet

• A chair

• A character

• A vase

• A window

Place them intuitively, then I’ll reveal what each element represents.

At the end, I’ll reveal what each element represents, and you might uncover something new about yourself. If you’re curious, I’ll also share the original version of the test so that you can experience it in its classic form.

Perfect for 10–15 minute creative breaks: playful, non-judgmental sketching made easy. All you need is a pencil, paper, and curiosity.

No experience needed! Just grab a pencil, eraser, paper, and any materials you enjoy. Join me and see what your sketches reveal.

What Students Are Saying

“This is an outstanding class! Masholand combines an easy-to-do sketching exercise with the intriguing aspects of a personality test. Her engaging, warm, encouraging teaching style allows students to sketch without feeling pressured while still guiding them to complete the project. This class is perfect for you if you tend to overthink things, whether you enjoy drawing or writing code. I absolutely enjoyed this short class and highly recommend it.”

— Ulrike Text & Tulip

“This is a fun activity to do, especially not knowing where it was leading (definitely don't watch the reveal at the end until you have completed the drawings). I would like to have seen more detail on the different representations in the end, although the PDF does give a little more info. I think I need to do a bit more analysis on mine to understand it, haha! I think this is a great idea to try with other "personality tests", just for fun.”

— Kate Parkin

“Fun and interesting! I think I found out some aspects about my inwardness and outlook on life through my drawing. Thank you :)”

— Cansev Kavak

“I loved this class! It was very impressive that you don't need a high level of drawing or sketching to achieve results, as long as you are able to decipher what you drew, you can form the conclusions that the instructor gives for looking into your life. I really enjoyed this very much!”
